 CanMAPP Districts
 

RESOLUTION

 

Be it resolved, that the CanMAPP Board agrees and undertakes to establish by this resolution the following Districts:

 

  • British Columbia and Yukon Territory
  • Central West –  Alberta and Saskatchewan
  • Central East - Manitoba,  Northwest Territories, NT and Nunavut
  • Ontario
  • Quebec
  • Eastern – New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland

 

Incorporation of Districts is prohibited and all operations of a district will be conducted under the CanMAPP national corporate structure.

 

Each District will elect from among its members in good standing a District President,  a District Vice President,  a District Secretary and District Treasurer. These titles are always to be used with the notation “District” as a prefix so an not to confuse the public. 

 

Each District may operate a local bank account for district activities with not less than two local district officers as signing officers and the District may raise funds for its local activities.  The District shall report annually on its financial position to the national organization at June 30th of each year.

 

In addition to its share of national dues, each district may, its own discretion, collect local dues from its members for the sole use of the District.

 

Each District will be allocated dues revenues from the cash receipts of the national organization, which relate to cash receipts from its district members as follows:
